Privacy Policy

This policy covers Quotseal, the service at quotseal.com. It explains what we store, why we store it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Two kinds of people appear in this policy. You are the person with a Quotseal account. Your customers are the people you send quotes to. They never need an account.

What we collect

Your account

• Your name and email address.
• Your password, stored as a one-way hash. We cannot read it.
• If you turn on two-factor authentication, the secret your app uses and your recovery codes.
• If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, that provider's account ID and the email address on it. We never receive your Google or Microsoft password.

Your company and your work

• Company name, logo and the appearance settings for your quotes.
• Quotes, templates, saved blocks and price items you create.
• Contacts you add, including your customers' names, email addresses and company details.
• Files you upload, such as images used inside a quote.
• Team members you invite and the role you give them.

Quote activity

When your customer opens a quote link, we record that it was opened, and whether it was accepted, declined or asked about. This is what makes the status on your dashboard work.

Billing

Payments run through Stripe. Your card number goes to Stripe, not to us. We keep your subscription plan, its status, and the last four digits and brand of the card so we can show you which card is on file.

Technical records

• Server logs holding IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
• A session cookie so you stay signed in, and a "remember me" cookie if you ask for one.

We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell your data to anyone.

Why we use it

• To run the service. Build quotes, send links, show status, keep your team's access correct.
• To bill you. Start trials, take subscription payments, send receipts.
• To keep accounts safe. Detect suspicious sign-ins and rate-limit abuse.
• To support you. Answer your emails about your account.

Who we share it with

We share only what a supplier needs to do its job for us. Right now that means:

• Stripe — payments and subscriptions.
• Our hosting and email providers — running the servers and delivering the emails you send.
• Google and Microsoft — only if you choose to sign in with them, and only to confirm who you are.
• Zoho CRM — only if you connect it yourself, and only for the records you sync.

We will also hand over data if the law requires it. We will tell you first unless we are forbidden from doing so.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data for as long as your account is open. If you close your account we delete your quotes, contacts and uploads within 30 days, apart from billing records we are required to keep for tax and accounting.

How we protect it

• Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS.
• Passwords are hashed, never stored in readable form.
• Two-factor authentication is available, and a company can require it for its whole team.
• Quote links carry a long random token, so a link cannot be guessed.

No service can promise perfect security. If a breach affects your data we will tell you.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, export it, or delete it. You can also object to how we use it. Email dealivo@vortechron.com and we will reply within 30 days.

Most of this you can do yourself from inside the app: your profile page edits your details, and each quote, contact and template can be deleted from its own screen.

Your customers' data

The contacts you add are yours, not ours. You decide what to put in them and you are responsible for having the right to do so. We process that data only to deliver the service to you. If one of your customers asks us to delete their details, we will pass the request on to you.

Children

Quotseal is a business tool and is not meant for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page and email account holders before the change takes effect.
